Beskrivelse

Brasato is a meat dish that requires long preparation. The meat is marinated for several hours (even a whole night) in red wine together with onions and spices and then it is cooked for a long time in its own wine marinade. The result is soft pieces of meat dipped in their sauce and complemented by the carrots that are cooked together.
My brasato meat also includes a portion of polenta. Polenta, an ancient Italian dish, is a mixture of cornflour and water, which solidifies when cold and is used to collect the sauce, thus replacing the bread.

Tips til tilberedning og anretning

Retten skal opvarmes i ovn i ti minutter (jeg anbefaler at dække beholderen med aluminiumsfolie).
